Police came to the coordinator of the "Space Politics" project in Yekaterinburg.

After this, Maria Solovyanchik stopped communicating.

"First, they started calling Masha to the security service at UrFU, and today the dean's office called. Then she told a story about [police officers] coming to her home," Vecherniye Vedomosti quoted Maria's friend as saying. The nature of the accusations against the girl is still unknown.

As a reminder, on February 1, police officers wearing balaclavas and armed with guns arrived at the Yekaterinburg event of the "Space Politics" project, seeking "people resembling LGBT people." They then asked the event administrator to sign a survey form and left.

This did not affect the event itself, but afterwards the owner of the site announced that he would no longer be able to provide it for the project's events.

"Political Space" is a network of independent youth projects. Its founders say its main goal is to provide opportunities to speak out and be heard. Among other things, the project conducts research on civil society in Russia.

UPD: Maria told It's My City journalists that at least one Center E officer was with the police. Law enforcement officials summoned Maria for questioning today.
