"Property rights are invalid." In the Kirov region, private land plots near Stolbovsky Pond are being confiscated.

Residents of several villages in the Slobodskoy district are forced to demolish fences and other outbuildings due to their proximity to a body of water – about this "NeMoscow" wrote in the beginning of May.
A week later the situation commented At the regional Ministry of Environmental Protection: private property rights to land located in the coastal strip of water bodies are invalid.
"Everyone has the right to access public water bodies and use them free of charge for personal and domestic needs, as well as to use the shoreline of public water bodies for movement and recreation around them. Land plots within the shoreline of water bodies are intended for public use and, by law, are state-owned and cannot be privatized. Private ownership of such plots is invalid," the ministry stated.
In the case of the plots in the villages of Zonikha, Shmaginy, and Panteleyevo, which overlook Stolbovsky Pond, there's a nuance: the collective farm first allocated plots to people, and only later did the water "come" to them—due to the construction of a sluice on the Sandalovka River.
The authorities refused to take this fact into account and demanded that 20 meters of coastline be cleared.
