176 hectares of forest were damaged by fire in the Jewish Autonomous Oblast. This is the highest figure among Russian regions.

The number of wildfires, including forest fires, in the Jewish Autonomous Region has nearly doubled this year compared to last year, Sergei Voloshin, Deputy Head of the Supervisory and Preventive Work Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Jewish Autonomous Region, previously reported.
