"Children are ideal soldiers and easily influenced": why the militarization of kindergartens is a dangerous process and how to resist it

In this matter understood our colleagues from "7x7".

"Mobilizing Dads," collecting humanitarian aid for the military, letters to the front, rules of conduct during shelling, and learning how to disassemble a Kalashnikov assault rifle—all of this is currently being done by kindergarteners across Russia.

Parents are often against such events, but not everyone decides to oppose the system, especially after the story of the Tula schoolgirl Masha MoskalevaPsychologist and psychoanalyst Anastasia Rubtsova calls for caution and advises no parent to fight alone now.

"First of all, talk to your child. About the value of human life, about how war is always a tragedy, and that death itself is never an act of heroism." she told reporters.

But even with this, children are still always at risk: "Firstly, they're suggestible. In a sense, they're the perfect little soldiers—if an adult says something's 'cool' and 'must be done,' a child will try their best to earn that adult's approval. Secondly, children don't yet fundamentally understand what death is. That death is forever, that death is painful. For them, it doesn't exist." - thinks Rubtsova.

According to the psychologist, war always has a devastating effect on both children and adults. She says that the entire society shifts from development mode to survival mode. And for children, development is their primary developmental goal. If everyone is just trying to survive, forging victory over a non-existent enemy, anxiously standing guard, frantically looking around, then children have no choice but to simply imitate adult behavior.

Because of this, according to the psychologist's forecast, in 10-15 years there is a chance to see a generation of people who have grown up both chronologically and physically, but have not yet become psychologically mature.
