Six years later there was built water treatment plant behind 62 million rubles, which was supposed to purify water from iron and turbidity.
But all this turned out to be useless, because purified water comes to the homes of Borisoglebsk residents through worn-out pipes that were laid back in 1940-e и 1950-ies.
«70 percent of the pipes in Borisoglebsk have served their purpose, — states the director of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Voda” Igor Gartsev. - The water is stirred up, the bottom sediments in the pipe rise and are carried by the water flow into the apartments of the city residents.”
According to journalists from the state-run Rossiya television channel, replacing the network is beyond the city's means, and it was unable to qualify for special funding programs. Therefore, residents were advised to buy bottled water or purify tap water with improvised means.
“There is money for the war in the region, even more than the norm is collected from factories, we add money every year for the maintenance of the governor and the mayor, comments Telegram channel story Vornadzor. - First, they took away the regions' independence and budgets, spent the last of the federal money on the war, killed a bunch of people there, and now we're wondering: "How is it that everything is falling apart?"
