A building collapsed in the Perm region, leaving seven people homeless.

Collapsed in the city Vereshchagino The residential building was built in 1952 and was declared unsafe in 2018. According to 59.RU journalists, the building was supposed to be vacated in 2025, but it didn't hold up.

According to preliminary data from the Investigative Committee Perm endThe collapse occurred on the evening of June 30. None of the residents were injured.

The prosecutor's office will now review the administration and management company's compliance with housing laws. Vereshchagin investigators will investigate all the circumstances of the incident and, if necessary, decide whether to initiate criminal proceedings.

People living in the destroyed part of the house temporarily moved in with relatives or into housing provided by the municipality.
