The FSB detained a 17-year-old "supporter of Ukrainian nationalist structures" in Khakassia.
"A resident of Abakan, born in 2005, who is a member of the nationalist organization 'Ethnic National Union' (headquartered in Kyiv), was detained. This individual, in order to recruit new supporters to the terrorist organization 'Ukrainian Paramilitary Nationalist Union 'Azov' (...), distributed materials aimed at promoting and justifying the activities of this banned organization.", the press release says. ASTRA found outthat the detainee is 17 years old Maxim Tikhomirov from AbakanA criminal case has been opened against him under Part 2 of Article 205.2 (incitement to terrorism). The charges allegedly stem from two posts in Telegram chats: "Thulemark Chat" with 115 users and "Idealism Reviews" with five users. In these posts, Maxim, according to investigators, called for joining the Azov Battalion, which is banned in Russia.
Siberia. Realities notes, that the "Ethnic National Association", of which the detainee is allegedly a member, announced its self-dissolution on April 20, 2022, that is, eight months before the detainee began promoting it.
