In a sign of unity and peace, several hundred people danced the Karelian circle in the center of Petrozavodsk.

A massive annual flash mob took place in the capital. Karelia On the Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples, a NeMoskva correspondent who attended the celebration reported.

It should be noted that the kruga is a traditional Karelian circle dance, which is considered a symbol of unity, peace, and harmony among the republic's multinational people. 

In different parts Karelia The dance is performed in its own way: the tempo and form of the kruga depend solely on the imagination and ingenuity of the leader. But it is always danced to traditional Karelian music and for at least half an hour.
