Wild birds have died again in Stavropol. Nearly 500 birds were poisoned by pesticides. 

The carcasses of 320 ducks and 160 pelicans, shelducks, terns and waders were discovered by employees of the regional Ministry of Natural Resources on the lake. Manych in the Apanasenkovsky district. 

Biomaterial samples tested revealed zinc phosphide in the carcasses of the dead birds. This leads experts to believe that the mass bird deaths were again caused by pesticide poisoning.
