"Adults curse children with obscene language"

Residents of Krasnodar are asking authorities to return the school buses that have transported children for many years. 

Since September 1, more than 2500 children in Krasnodar are forced to get to schools with difficulty due to the “optimization” of the transport system. 

Parents of schoolchildren Prikubansky District Krasnodar was created petition, In it, they ask for the return of school buses for students living in remote areas of the city. All summer long, they wrote letters to various authorities to maintain a safe route for children, but received only formal replies.

"On their way to school, children must travel 3 to 8 km unaccompanied through busy highways and construction sites. As a result, children are crammed into minibuses, which are in short supply, standing, and injuring themselves. Adult bus passengers and drivers swear at children.", says the petition, which has been signed by almost 700 people. 

School transportation existed in Krasnodar for many years. This year, city authorities canceled it, citing the lack of a law providing for school transportation within the city limits. Meanwhile, the petition's authors note, the law does not prohibit such transportation when several thousand students need it.
