Vodka prices in Russia could rise by 7%. A half-liter will cost at least 301 rubles.

On the increase in prices for alcoholic beverages from 2024 have asked The Ministry of Finance, representatives of the Union of Alcohol Producers, said: "Companies are under pressure from rising excise taxes, rising costs of imported materials, and increased logistics." 

Thus, it is proposed to increase the minimum selling prices from 229 to 243 rubles, wholesale — from 238 to 253 rubles, and retail ones - from 281 to 301 rubles for a 0,5 liter bottle.

According to estimates from the Union of Alcohol Producers, alcohol production and distribution costs could increase by at least 10% this year, and raising minimum prices will prevent below-cost sales and production cuts. Kommersant's industry sources say the proposal will be supported.
