"Incited negativity and aggression." The head of a village in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug was accused of dividing the community over a survey about his work.

Local wrote a statement to the prosecutor's office after Nikolai Rudyshin, head of the Fyodorovsky village in the Surgut district of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, posted On his VK page, he posted a poll asking people to evaluate his work, as well as the work of the administration and the Council of Deputies. Rudyshin explained that he launched the poll by saying that "the insults and threats he received made it morally difficult for him to work." He was prepared to resign if people voted against him.

In his complaint against Rudyshin, the activist noted that a criminal case had previously been opened against the village administration and its mayor for negligence and problems with resettling residents from dilapidated housing. He is now asking for the official to be investigated for inciting hatred, as residents' opinions on the mayor's performance are divided, and the comments have sparked debate.
 
"In this post, Rudyshin incited negativity and aggression among citizens. As a result, he caused division in the population and conflict between city residents," the statement reads.
 
Incidentally, two-thirds of those who voted in the survey rated Rudyshin's work positively.
