"They came in, poked me, and forgot about it." A teacher from Chuvashia told NeMoskva how lists of parents loyal to the regime are compiled.
About the fact that parents of schoolchildren have started to be asked about their loyalty to the regime, сообщил Telegram channel "Angry Chuvashia." The publication clarifies that the Department of Education set this task for school principals. CheboksaryAttached as proof are spreadsheets that must be completed to report on the work done. These include the parents' full names, home address, place of work, and telephone number. The last column is labeled "Loyal/Not Loyal."
As one teacher, interviewed by "NeMoskva" with "Angry Chuvashia," explained, the job of compiling the lists has been pushed onto class teachers. On average, there is one teacher for every 30 parents, depending on the number of students in the class. The need to compile the lists is communicated as a request.
But we all know what the requests are among teachers, — the interlocutor explained. — They're trying to set the tone so that refusal won't be accepted. Personally, I haven't heard of any refusals.
The teacher also said that parents of students have different attitudes towards such surveys.
Many people are tired of this crap. Some don't react at all, others react negatively. Some are extremely positive, and that's worth acknowledging. That's why I try to avoid bothering my people with such issues as much as possible: they just go [to the chat], click, and forget about it.
The father of one of the Cheboksary schoolchildren reported that no one has yet asked him about his loyalty to the authorities.
They understand that they will provoke a negative reaction. Our teacher is a tactful teacher, he explained. — But two or three years ago, someone at kindergarten asked us who we were going to vote for. I told the teacher that it was all wrong. She said the principal was demanding it, and burst into tears. She quit a while later, but I don't know the reason.
