Around 600 people are being evacuated in Belgorod due to an unexploded shell.

Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said Bomb disposal experts discovered an unexploded ordnance on Krasnoarmeyskaya Street in Belgorod. Consequently, the task force decided to evacuate "approximately 600" people from 323 private homes within a 500-meter radius of the ordnance's discovery.

While bomb disposal experts dispose of the shell, residents of the buildings will be taken to temporary accommodation. Police will guard the abandoned buildings.

Two explosive devices were also discovered in the Ulitka neighborhood of Belgorod; one of them has already been defused. Authorities will decide on the possible evacuation of nearby residents based on the bomb disposal team's findings.
