The plane that crash-landed in a wheat field near Novosibirsk will be scrapped.

This decision was made after a lengthy analysis of the situation and several expert assessments. The Ural Airlines plane will be cut up for scrap, according to the SHOT Telegram channel. Trying to take off from the airstrip is financially unviable for the airline.

In the fall, it was planned that this winter, after repairs, the plane would take off from the runway equipped at the emergency landing site.
