"Men are dressing up as women." A Novosibirsk resident appealed to Mizulina to close a bar where drag queens perform.

"I couldn't pass by... Every night there, men dress up as women, dance, and drink in front of other people. I think it's inappropriate.", — this appeal from Novosibirsk resident Vladislav Pushkin was published by the head of the Safe Internet League Ekaterina Mizulina

Pushkin asked her to pay attention to Elton Bar A similar establishment in Krasnoyarsk was closed after her intervention and a raid by security forces. Mizulina promised to contact the Ministry of Internal Affairs to request an inspection of the establishment in Novosibirsk as well.

Media reports indicate that after Pushkin's statement, LGBT activists found videos online of him spending time in nightclubs.

Earlier, Mizulina, who had begun a series of meetings with young people in Russian cities, was asked not to return to Tyumen, as her visit "brought nothing but scandal." In Kazan, during a meeting, a student argued with her, accusing her of informing on them. Also in Tatarstan, Mizulina was offended for referring to all residents of the country as Russians, regardless of ethnicity.
