The farewell was accompanied by a song Frank Sinatra My Way, and the funeral was to the music from the film "Terminator 2," a favorite of Alexei Navalny's. Alexei's family was the first to say goodbye. 

Navalny's supporters who had arrived at the cemetery chanted, "Let us say goodbye." The administration promised that people would be allowed into the cemetery so they could also say goodbye and throw a handful of earth into Navalny's grave.

People continue to walk toward the cemetery, chanting popular slogans from opposition rallies: “We are the power here,” “Russia without Putin,” and “No to war.”
