The overturning of the appeal decision means that the sentence is once again considered null and void, meaning the convicted persons must be returned to pretrial detention—the judge ordered their detention.

As Chanysheva's lawyer reported Ramil Gizatullin, taking into account the jurisdiction, Chanyshev and Mulyukov should be returned to Bashkortostan (both are currently in penal colonies in the Perm region), however, the new transfer, he believes, will be harsh towards the convicts (taking into account the conditions of the transfer).

Today, the cassation court in Samara satisfied The prosecutor's office's submission and returned the criminal case against Ufa political prisoners, the former head of Navalny's regional headquarters, for review by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan Lilia Chanysheva and a former volunteer of the organization Rustem Mulyukova.

The lawyers for the convicted persons will decide whether to appeal the decision after they receive the reasoning for the cassation decision.
