The first scholarly (and most comprehensive) collection of Leonid Aronzon's works was published, it seems, in a previous life, but it remains relevant today. A crowdfunding campaign is underway for a third reprint, and this is good news: the book will be available to those who missed out on copies in both 2006 and 2018. The two-volume set includes poems, verses, plays, prose, and drawings. The volumes were compiled and commented on by philologists Vladimir Erl, Pyotr Kazarnovsky, and Ilya Kukuy. Aronzon's poems, other than a few children's poems, were not published in his lifetime, but today he is considered a classic. He is considered to represent an alternative branch of poetry to Brodsky.
