A bomb shelter competition will be held in Chelyabinsk.

The order to hold such a competition in the city was signed by the head Chelyabinsk Natalia Kotova.

The shelters are scheduled to be assessed by May 31. Organizations managing civil defense structures are participating in the competition. They are divided into three groups based on their capacity. The first group includes structures that can accommodate up to 150 people, the second group includes structures that can accommodate between 150 and 600 people, and the third group includes structures that can accommodate more than 600 people.

"The competition also plans to identify effective forms and methods for using bomb shelters in peacetime. This is necessary to maintain the readiness of such facilities to receive people for shelter."- пишет EAN publication.
