However, the deputy chairman of the regional council Michael Vdovin He said that the enterprise had been destroyed for a long time and deliberately - precisely for the sake of the land. According to Vdovin, the enterprise was always financed on a residual basis, with much work going unpaid. One of the previous mayors proposed selling part of the land so that the proceeds could go toward developing Zelenstroy. The enterprise never saw the money, and two houses were built on the sold plot.

"Even back then, I was told that all of Zelenstroy's problems stemmed from a lucrative piece of land, and now I've seen it firsthand. It won't be long before the enterprise ceases to exist, just as many municipal enterprises, which were merged with others under "good" intentions, have ceased to exist. The land where the enterprise is currently located will be sold to the right people, and the landscaping contracts will go to the right people." the official wrote.

Vdovin stated that he supports the demands of employees and city residents to preserve the enterprise.
