Bashkortostan Governor Radiy Khabirov wrote about the incident. He stated that "smoke was emitted in the area of ​​one of the plant's units," but that production was operating "as normal." Khabirov noted that "this is an attempt to tarnish our holiday; we do not intend to succumb to provocations," and congratulated everyone on Victory Day.

The distance from the Ukrainian border, from where the drones could have flown, is approximately 1400 km. This is currently a record, provided that the drones were launched from Ukrainian territory. Earlier, in early April, drones reached Tatarstan for the first time, covering approximately 1000 km.
