"Build up every meter of this world." Krasnoyarsk could become one big KRT zone.

Public hearings are coming to an end in Krasnoyarsk to discuss the integrated territorial development plan (ITD). The plan envisages new development covering almost half of the city.

According to the authorities, the KRT zone should include older neighborhoods with dilapidated housing, new neighborhoods—those fully built with new buildings and those still under construction—the city's historic center, and industrial zones. These include the neighborhoods of Cheryomushki, Zelenaya Roshcha, Belye Rosy, Yuzhny Bereg, Novaya Pokrovka, Tikhie Zori, Sloboda Vesny, Neftebaza, and many others.

"A KRT stands for integrated territorial development. A KRT zone differs from a typical residential development zone in that it allows for higher building density. A KRT zone allows for 19 square meters of construction per hectare." soosays NGS24.RU.

It is noted that social institutions should appear in the microdistricts along with new residential buildings.

Only owners of housing located in the KRT zone can participate in the hearings.

"There's no conscience. And the City Council is going to defend the interests of the city's residents?! This is the theater of the absurd. We don't have enough land?! The global trend is toward open public spaces, greenery, pedestrian streets... these guys are just pushing the construction density," "The City Council is a developer's puppet theater. And the puppets aren't even marionettes, they're ones you can actually get your arm into," "Building up every inch of this world is the mayor's motto," — the townspeople appreciated the innovation.

About how residents of the regions are evicted from their homes in microdistricts convenient for developers and "driven" to unattractive outskirts, what is KRT - in thoseby the way "NotMoscow".
