"Bang! Bang! We're working": Transbaikal officials are being prepared for deployment to war with Ukraine.

Governor Transbaikalia Alexander Osipov posted a video showing three men in camouflage and armed with automatic weapons practicing storming a building. They shoot and throw grenades.

"Our volunteers from among the employees of the authorities and the government of the Trans-Baikal Territory are undergoing training to participate in a special military operation," — the governor wrote. 

Local journalists discovered that the head of the internal policy department was among the participants in the training. Nicholas Belomestnov  и Bayaskhalan Vanchikov - the husband of the deputy prime minister Ayagmy Vanchikova, who was tried for tax evasion of 8,7 million rubles while serving as director of Zabaikalspetstrans. The third participant in the preparation is Aldar Balzhirov — a former Minister of Construction for Transbaikalia, he often travels on business trips to the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine.

Press Secretary of the Governor of Transbaikalia Irina Parfyonova She confirmed that officials were planning to go to war, but did not say who exactly. 

Officials from Transbaikal had previously taken part in the war in Ukraine. For example, a former city manager went to the front.
