"You can't even clean the storm drain!" Volgograd residents criticized the mayor's office for its plan to open Russia's first public garden dedicated to the annexed territories.
Officials spoke about the art objects that have already begun to be made for the new park. told on the official pages of the mayor's office on social networks.
So, in honor of the annexation Lugansk it was decided to install a structure for climbers in the form of coal - it "symbolizes the natural resources of the Donbass subsoil."
Also in the square there will be art objects “Peaceful Atom” (symbol Zaporizhzhya NPP), a metal lighthouse (symbol of the 70-meter lighthouse in Kherson region), a covered colonnade with swings (it is similar to the Count's Wharf in Sevastopol).
In addition, an art object, the "Crimean Bridge," will be installed on one of the sidewalks, symbolizing the peninsula's reunification with Russia.
A name has already been chosen for the square: "We Are Together." A glowing installation with these words will serve as the central art object.
Officials recalled that the idea to create Russia's first public garden officially dedicated to the country's new regions was born last year at a youth festival attended by representatives of Novorossiya. It will be located on a vacant lot near 7th Gvardeyskaya Street, which had long been abandoned.

Another clarifies that there is not even a normal road to the future park: “The crossing under the railway bridge is a disaster, and after the crossing there's dry grass, trees, and a complete mess. I've been waiting for years for any concrete action or improvements from you, but all I get is the runaround. Either there's no funding, or the land doesn't have an owner."
