Poachers to the Front! In Bashkortostan, the People's Front called on poachers to hand over their nets to "preserve nature and help the fighters."

"Citizens engaged in illegal fishing now have this opportunity. The People's Front announces the collection of poaching nets for the needs of the SVO. Illegal fishing gear is an effective defense against drones and is in demand along the line of contact."— reads a message in the VKontakte group “People’s Front of the Republic of Bashkortostan.”

The poachers were guaranteed anonymity, so "the first 3000 meters of nets for the fighters were handed over by a Ufa resident who wished to remain anonymous."

After harvesting the fish, poachers often throw cheap nets into the water, which then become entangled and kill fish, waterfowl, pond turtles, and even young boars. So, clearing the waterways of nets is a very good idea.

Much better than the war in Ukraine.
