Ukrainian troops destroyed a bridge over the Seim River in the Kursk region: 30 settlements can now only be evacuated by water.

Targeted shelling of a bridge in the Glushkovsky district began just last night.

At first, the Ukrainian Armed Forces succeeded to harm the surface of the bridge, and then - bring down One of the flybys. According to preliminary information, American Himars missiles were used for this.

As a result, part of the border region was cut off from communication with Russian territory: residents of 30 settlements can now only be evacuated by water.

Let us recall that on the night of August 14-15, the authorities announced the mandatory evacuation of the entire Glushkovsky district, which is home to more than 20 thousand people.

According to the maps, the distance from the destroyed bridge to the Russian-Ukrainian border is 21 km in a straight line.
