Ambulance workers from Krasnoyarsk Krai have asked the governor to introduce regional payments.

"Today, we see only the devaluation of our work, which leads to disappointment and the departure from the profession of people who respect their work and themselves."- wrote chairman trade union "Action" at the Bogotul District Hospital Marina Minasyan.

The employees consider it unfair that in the spring the federal government did not include them in the list of health workers who raised special social payment. They asked for the situation to be rectified and additional payments to be introduced at the regional level.

According to Minasyan, "The Krasnoyarsk Territory's ambulance workers have one last hope of being heard, and the Ministry of Health has one last hope of retaining qualified personnel.".

"Now, by introducing new pay systems (increasing some things and cutting others), <> the government is only sowing discord among workers. And the wages we receive are still not enough to live on. Even getting children dressed and ready for school has become a major problem. A beer bar worker's salary is higher than that of an ambulance paramedic.", — writes Minasyan.

In a number of regions, authorities have introduced their own payments to ambulance workers.
