The incident occurred at the Krasny Kit shopping center. Gunfire erupted, and people fled the scene in panic. Reports of injuries emerged immediately.

Police later reported that the shooter had been detained, and the Investigative Committee announced that a criminal case had been opened for hooliganism. According to investigators, the man had a conflict with shopping center security, which led to him opening fire.

The Moscow Region Ministry of Health reported that four people were injured. They are in moderate condition.
