"We're running for our lives." Residents of Pavlovo, Nizhny Novgorod, are once again suffering from the smell of chicken manure.
The "aroma" of chicken manure dumped onto the fields by the Pavlovskaya Poultry Farm is making it difficult for nearby residents to breathe. The fields were heavily manured just 300-500 meters from the residential area.
"It's a very pungent smell, it makes your eyes water. When the wind blows in Pavlovo's direction, my children and I are forced to leave the city and flee.",

Residents are dreading the onset of summer heat. They suffer and residents of neighboring settlements.
Pavlovskaya Poultry Farm representative Maya Lisenkova told reporters that everything is being done for the good:
"What you call waste is actually fertilizer. This is all being done now to reduce the odor in the summer. It will be worse in the summer. <> This odor is unavoidable if we want to supply the region with chicken."
According to the employee, the fields belong to a poultry farm. The fertilizer will be used to grow grain crops that will be used to feed the chickens.
Residents of Pavlovo and last summer complained to the stench of chicken manure - then the liquid fraction was poured onto the fields.
Incidentally, Rosprirodnadzor has taken on the Okskaya Poultry Farm in the Ryazan Region. The regulatory agency presented a lawsuit for environmental pollution for almost 100 million rubles.
