Residents of a Rostov village have blocked a road, demanding that communication with the mainland be restored.  

Residents of the village Pleshakov (Kamensky district) On the morning of Monday, March 24, people removed benches from courtyards and blocked the passage of heavy trucks. They are protesting the fact that road repairs leading to the M-4 "Don" highway have effectively cut people off from civilization. 

“Last week, a school bus got stuck in a rut. A schoolgirl from the village Verkhneerokhin I couldn't get to school for several days. Recently, neither an ambulance nor the police were able to get to the home of a deceased woman in the village of Ilyukhin.- пишет local publication "PIK". 

The main road was closed for repairs almost two years ago, so the traffic hauling sand from the nearby quarry goes through Pleshakov. The heavy-duty trucks quickly made the dirt road impassable, sparking protests. 

By evening, representatives of the district and village administration met with the management of the transport organization and residents of the village. It was reported that on the road works A motor grader will be used to fill the road with crushed stone, after which the road will be opened.
