"Some kind of sabotage": Kamchatka's governor disavowed bots praising him and promised to personally clean them out.

A subscriber to the regional head's Telegram channel demanded that he "clean up his bot factory," which is "given orders to be rude to citizens" who write about problems. "This is a disgrace and a demonstration of the government's true attitude towards residents."she wrote.

This was one of the questions for the direct line that Vladimir SolodoHe held a meeting today. He said he was "absolutely outraged by what's happening in the comments" to his posts, that he had "absolutely" nothing to do with it, and that it was "sabotage":

"I've ordered that bot comments that are, pardon the expression, laudatory and clearly machine-written be immediately deleted. I actually believe this is some kind of sabotage against us. I want to officially state that no government agency has been tasked with such a task. I will personally clean up my feed and [ask that] we eradicate these things."  

But it will apparently be possible to praise the governor not by the “machines,” but by his subordinates.

Other residents pointed out that class teachers are being forced to post "positive news about the mayor, the city, and the governor" in school groups and like them. Solodov promised to "look into it," as this is "completely amateurish."

The day before, when asked to ask questions for the direct line, residents asked Solodov to resign, as "everything is very sad in all areas of life."
