A "SVO veteran" filed a lawsuit against a Primorsky journalist.
Journalist Anna Sharipova from Nakhodka covers city issues. In February, several "SVO veterans" filed a denunciation against her and demanded that law enforcement investigate her channel, claiming she was "slinging mud at the city" and "deceiving residents."
The day before, Sharipova received a lawsuit from a veteran. Igor Roenko demanded that she remove the video featuring him from her channel, pay 25,000 rubles in damages, and prevent its distribution. Anna made the recording after the denunciation: she met the "snitches" in the city and discovered he didn't know her and was seeing her for the first time.
The plaintiff insists that the video was filmed secretly and suddenly, that it portrayed him in an unfavorable light, and that the recording "creates a negative attitude toward the members of the SVO."
Sharipova believes that pressure may be exerted on her at the request of the city mayor—she has had a long-standing conflict with him (“the mayor permanently dislikes what I write”).
"I'm currently actively writing about the pollution of Lake Solenoye, where a new embankment was built at a cost of over 400 million rubles. Fish have been dying there for two months. The source of the pollution has been identified, but the cause [of the fish deaths] has never been officially determined," says Sharipova.
