A Yekaterinburg resident accused of treason was found hanged in his home.
According to investigators, the 47-year-old Vasily Raskov "He was collecting information about military-strategic facilities in the Sverdlovsk region and military-technical data." FSB officers detained him at the border with Kazakhstan while he was allegedly attempting to smuggle two specialized radio stations abroad.
Raskov spent several months in pretrial detention, but then, due to a serious illness, was released under house arrest.
