The mayor's office plans to remove benches installed by a pensioner in Yakutsk. 

At the end of March, 78-year-old retiree Tamara Torokova installed two benches at the bus stop near the medical center. But now the mayor's office plans to move them—they plan to build a full-fledged pavilion, shelter, and benches at the stop. 

Yakutsk Evening пишетThe bus stop appeared after a change in the bus route plan, opening this winter near the new cardiovascular center. Therefore, only signs have been installed so far. The trash receptacles and all landscaping are planned to begin in the warmer months, by the end of May. 

"We will carefully move the proactive resident's benches while we install the bus stop shelter," — the mayor's office reported. 

Tamara Torokova ennobles She's been working in her city since the 90s. She constantly plants flowers and sometimes cleans bus stops. She doesn't ask for anything from the authorities; her main wish is that her work not be ruined. City officials have only recognized her long-term work once—last year.
