Special engineering structures—cofferdams—will be installed over the bow of the Volgoneft-239 and the bow and stern of the Volgoneft-212 to prevent fuel oil spills. The fuel oil will then be pumped out through access hatches in the cofferdams. 1 billion 92 million rubles will be allocated for this purpose.
