Nature reserves are asking for protection! The Ministry of Natural Resources wants to allow industrial construction in specially protected natural areas. 

The Ministry of Natural Resources has posted it for public comment. draft resolution governments that are significantly weakening the protection of nature reserves and national parks.

Currently, dams, metallurgy facilities, or other destructive but profitable activities are prohibited in national parks. The seizure of land and other natural resources is prohibited.

And if the resolution is adopted, then all this can be done in accordance with the law.

For example, the following will be at risk: Salair National Park, Khibiny National Park and the East of the Gulf of Finland State Nature Reserve — they are protected only by those provisions that the Ministry of Natural Resources intends to repeal.
