The Ministry of Finance has increased the expected federal budget deficit to 3,79 trillion rubles.

In addition, the Ministry of Finance lowered the forecast for oil and gas budget revenues from 10,93 trillion until 8,3 trillion rubles, and the oil price forecast has been lowered from $69,7 until $56 per barrel. The inflation estimate was increased from 4,5 % until 7,6%. At the same time, the GDP growth forecast for 2025 has not changed and remains at 2,5%.

"Budget priorities remain unchanged. These include social support for citizens, funding for national defense and security, support for the families of military personnel, and ensuring the country's technological leadership," stated Finance Minister Anton Siluanov. "Everything planned in the budget, including the implementation of national development goals, will be achieved regardless of external conditions and factors."
