Military Tomato: A New Ural Tomato Hybrid Named "Snaryad"

A new tomato hybrid with this name was created by employees Ural State Agrarian University (USAU), сообщает TASS. The newly developed tomato variety has an elongated shape, resembling a projectile.

"The hybrid is highly productive and versatile—suitable for both harvesting and fresh consumption. We dedicated this variety to the year of the Defender of the Fatherland, the special military operation, and the 80th anniversary of Victory Day."

The variety is characterized by high productivity, рассказал Karpushin at a conference dedicated to the summer cottage season in Sverdlovsk region.

According to him, the new tomato variety is fleshy and has a sweet taste. Development of the variety took five years. Karpushin also urged the purchase of domestic seeds, as he claims they produce a good harvest, while imported ones may not adapt to harsh climate conditions.
