Two escaped contract soldiers—former prisoners who were planning to go to the SVO—have been apprehended. Four others remain at large.

Two of the ten contract soldiers who escaped from the military training ground Rostov-on-Don, detained on the border with the "LDNR", despite the resistance they put up. 

According to a source in the military Investigative Committee, four more are on the run. The search continues not only for Rostov region, but also in the so-called "new regions." Currently, information about the detainees and the operation to find the contract soldiers is classified and controlled by federal security agencies.

NeMoskva wrote that ten contract soldiers are former prisoners fled from a military training ground near Rostov. All of them were serving sentences for serious crimes (murder, robbery, drug trafficking, rape, and battery), but they had signed contracts in the penal colony and were planning to go to the "SVO."
