Near Anapa, in the village of Blagoveshchenskaya, a whole field of poppies blossomed in one day.

"Poppy madness," write local residents.

"The field burst into bloom within 24 hours. The day before yesterday, there was nothing here. This was just rapeseed, and the field was yellow, but suddenly it turned red," the More_Blaga Telegram channel reported.

Poppies bloom for only five days. It all depends on the weather: rain and wind, residents agree.
