"Submission to the head of the family": The chairman of the Union of Fathers of Tatarstan called for the extension of Chechen patriarchal practices to all of Russia.

Representatives of the Union of Fathers of Tatarstan visited the Chechen Republic and praised the "atmosphere of traditions, national principles, and respect for adults."

"In Chechnya, strong families are the norm. Men here care for their families, and wives' submissiveness to the head of the family is the norm. <…> I believe the time has come to adopt this positive experience from the Chechen Republic and scale it up within Russia to address the demographic situation," wrote Adel Zagretdinov, head of the Union of Fathers of Tatarstan, on social media.

"Hand in hand and only forward. Akhmat is strong!!" finished Zagretdinov's post. His message shared Union of Fathers of Russia.

At the same time, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has repeatedly expressed in support of polygamy, citing Islamic traditions.

"Name me a single man who hasn't had several mistresses. There aren't any. And they all lie to their wives. And I could never lie to my wife. So polygamy is very good, but having many mistresses is bad," говорил Kadyrov. According to investigations "Project", the head of the republic has a second unofficial wife and harem with underage girls.
