"Suck it up and don't show off": A Stavropol charity fund pays teachers to teach "anti-abortion" lessons.

"Your Life Before Birth" is the title of a lesson aimed at abortion prevention, developed by the Stavropol-based St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Charitable Foundation for the Protection of Family, Motherhood, and Childhood. The authors of the manual propose showing schoolchildren and students all the stages of embryonic development and explaining that human life begins at the moment of conception. 

For each "anti-abortion" lesson, the foundation pays teachers 1500 rubles. To receive this money, teachers must register as self-employed, videotape portions of their lesson, and scan forms filled out by the children. Schools are also "donated" with illustrated displays and fetal replicas.

"Our main task now is to look into the minds of schoolchildren. We did, and it's a horror. <…> And if we don't instill certain thoughts in the younger generation, then that's it, the Russian race will simply disappear," says the president of the St. Nicholas Foundation. Nikolay Moiseev.

Moiseyev admits that not all schools are willing to offer "anti-abortion" lessons, but, in his opinion, whether teachers want it or not, they "should accept it and not show off."
