The mayor of Krasnoyarsk was arrested in Moscow on charges of bribery.

Basmanny Court decided Vladislav Loginov was remanded in custody until August 4. Today, the official was transferred to Moscow from Krasnoyarsk, where he was detained the day before.

Loginov is accused of receiving bribes The head of a road construction company received over 180 million rubles in exchange for winning road repair tenders. The official received part of this sum in cash, and part in a sauna on his property, according to the prosecution.

Searches were previously conducted at the detainee's home and at the city hall.

Loginov is a member of United Russia (his party membership was suspended the day before), and he became the head of Krasnoyarsk in 2022.
