Belgorod officials were caught selling an electronic warfare system on Avito.
Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that one of the electronic warfare systems previously distributed to municipalities was spotted on Avito.
"Suddenly, I saw that one of the electronic warfare systems we handed over to the heads of state was listed on Avito. <…> A desire, to put it mildly, to make money when everyone is struggling, and some people think that oversight weakens during times of tension," Gladkov said today at a regional government meeting.
The governor sent his subordinate to "drive by and look at all the units."
"I need visual confirmation of all the units and their locations, then we'll sort this out personally," Gladkov said.
In his opinion, "the information could be deliberately created" to sow discord among officials. He also recalled seeing unpacked electronic warfare systems in the border Graivoron District, which had not been activated despite the "extremely high" number of drone attacks.
