General Director of Rostovvodokanal Evgeniya Yurkina sent He was held in pretrial detention for two months. He is suspected of disclosing state secrets. What these secrets were is unknown.

Yurkin worked at Rostovvodokanal since 2010. He took up the position of CEO in September 2023.

On the same day, these messages appeared on the company's telegram have been named fake, adding that “Rostovvodokanal is carrying out and plans to carry out water supply activities in the normal mode.”

Yurkin isn't the first Rostovvodokanal executive to be investigated. In 2022, a court in Rostov recognized General Director of Rostovvodokanal Dmitry Kubrak guilty of fraud, he was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. Against Mikhail Porksheev, who held the position before Kubrak, was excited a criminal case on charges of abuse of power and causing damage to the enterprise, but the case ended with a large fine.
