A sailor from Omsk is being threatened in Chukotka for telling about a rotting ferry.

Sailor Alexey Dudoladov began receiving threats from the management of the Anadyr port after he опубликовал A video from the ferry "Anadyr" in which he said that it was not in use and was rotting in the port. 

"The Kamchatka boat carries passengers from Anadyr to Ugolnye Kopi Airport. It holds about 50 passengers. The ferry could hold about 96 passengers—twice as many—but it's not being used; it's just sitting there rotting. I think that's wrong," Dudoladov said. 

Cost ferry — 240 million rubles. Sailor told the publication "Regional Aspect" рассказалAfter the video, he was summoned by the management of the Anadyr port, who advised him to "mind his own business," threatened to "talk harshly" if there was any more video, and recommended that he leave Chukotka.   

Furthermore, Dudoladov and his girlfriend were evicted from their government housing, and they pitched a tent outside the regional government building. The police officers who detained them warned the couple against violating protest laws, but also instructed them on how to act if they received threats or were evicted. 

Dudoladov is studying at the Omsk Institute of Water Transport and is completing an internship in Chukotka. His employment contract has not been terminated, but he says they are trying to transfer him to a district with no service at all. He plans to file a complaint with the prosecutor's office against those who threatened him.
