"Pay up, my dears." The State Duma has come up with a way to ensure people have a dignified retirement.

State Duma deputy Andrey Gurulev, who is not given peace non-taxable tax on childless people, proposed introducing a “tax on dignified old age” for them, and directing the resulting income to raising orphans.

The deputy stated this in a conversation with the former governor. Transbaikal Territory Ravil Geniatulin in response to the question of who should support a childless person in old age.

"The state, right? When you're infirm. Because no one needs you, you left no one behind. But why should the state fulfill these responsibilities? Then pay the tax for a dignified retirement, my dears, if you don't want to have children. But in reality, the problem is much deeper. It lies more in the upbringing. And today, perhaps, a whole range of measures is needed to encourage people to have children," считает Gurulev.

He's not the only one who wants to tax childless Russians. In May, an archpriest of the Russian Orthodox Church Andrey Tkachevproposed introduce a special tax for men over 40 who don't have children. And the other day, he He accused  in the demographic crisis of women, calling "dead, cowardly and depraved."
