Although the boat is made of plywood, it's lined with carbon fiber both inside and out. It's quite a fast vessel—with one passenger, it can reach speeds of 45 km/h. 

Boatman Alexander This year, he presented a canoe made using Canadian designs. The boat was assembled using a slatted frame, and the unusually shaped paddle was crafted from his own designs.
