Previously, outages in cities and regions had occurred sporadically, with internet outages occurring temporarily. However, at the end of July, cities in the Krasnoyarsk Territory were left without internet for the first time, with mobile internet out for five days straight. 

Officially, this is done to protect people from drones, but in fact, in some regions there has never been a drone threat, while shutdowns have occurred. And in other regions, for example, in Udmurtia, drones attacked various targets despite network outages.
